Following an intensive two-week summer filmmaking workshop, students of the Sunflower County Film Academy will screen their culminating film project, An Army Rising Up. The work shop was conducted from June 21 to July 2nd. Local Mississippi Delta high school students participated in learning about filmmaking and civil rights. Their final project is a reflection of their work and effort over the two week workshop. Over 90% of this film is student planned, filmed, and directed by the students with guidance from workshop instructors. Please join us in celebrating their hard work.
